Then you obviously haven't been listening to * or Fox News.

When an enemy is stateless, such as Al Qaeda, you can't just randomly bomb countries. You need to take them down cell by cell and member by member--WHEREVER THEY RESIDE. Most importantly you need to cut off their source of funding, a.k.a., Saudi Arabia. That is what the FBI has done to narcotics traffickers and that is what needs to be done with terrorists (i.e., it is a law enforcement issue). Yeah, I know it doesn't fit on a bumper sticker, but real life is like that sometimes.

And law enforcement has something called "undercover agents" whose function is to PREVENT crimes from happening. If your cops are only coming on the scene after the fact, then I might ask the president for more funding for local law enforcement (but he cut that, remember?)

Now go back to drinking your Kool-Aid like the rest of your Freeper friends.
