I'm proud of the WOMEN.
those wonderful WOMEN who stormed D.C. like lionesses yesterday.
bless em' all for walking in there and making a stand against these maniacs squatting in OUR white house who would send women back to the dark ages.

we should ALL take the example of these strong WOMEN, and we should ALL storm the white house, boldly, peacefully, purposefully and focused like a lazer against these fanatics.

these are tough WOMEN. these are loudmouth WOMEN. these are OUR WOMEN.

thanks to those WOMEN

1. Roger that, mopaul!
I stopped myself before I said amen. Seriously, men have made a huge mess of things. Maybe the women (once AGAIN) will show us the way.

Maybe this time we'll get a CLUE?

3. From Los Angeles
http://www.atforumz.com/showthread.php?t=230917

I went to the Los Angeles march. It was a very friendly atmosphere. I was playing classic protest songs with my harmonica, & a guy from a radio station, (970), recorded "The Internationale" and "We Shall Overcome".

People driving by were very supportive, honking their horns. That included one ambulance, and two big rig trucks with airhorns

At the peak I saw some people leaving, so I did my own count : 238...

Any DUers in LA? I was the massage therapist with his broken wrist in a cast up to my shoulder...

4. The march
was awesome. I'm still trying to find the words for what I felt seeing everyone cover the entirety of the mall. Way to come together, girls.

I would also like to thank all the men that were there. I was amazed at the number of you that were there and it was by choice, not because your girlfriend or wife or sister or mother made you come, but because you really care about our cause. The struggle for the freedom of choice is no longer carried by women alone. I saw grandfathers for choice, fathers for choice, t-shirts that read 'I heart pro-choice girls.' Thanks for all of your support!

6. Sure wish I could have been there
and you can bet there are millions more just like me who could only watch what little we were allowed to see. We will all be voting the * out and that should make him very uncomfortable right about now.

7. NPR was reporting 500,000
They said police officers guessed it as that.

I automatically doubled it in my head, knowing their past practices.

12. I rather liked the bagpipers for choice, myself.
The march was awesome. I feel so priveledged to have participated, especially since this was my first one. I haven't turned the news on, cuz I know they're full of shit, but I told my family and most of them are proud of me for being an activist, even if they're not thrilled with my positions. :)
