My essay on noted Blackfeet author is in next issue of Red Ink Magazine..
I wrote an essay on James Welch, author of "Fools Crow" among other great novels, for Red Ink Magazine. Welch died last summer after a year long battle with cancer. A great guy. I am currently adapting his novel "The Indian Lawyer" into a screenplay. So if you are interested in American Indian literature check him out. Actually, if you just love literature check him out. He's worth it.
