Internet Hate Sites Growing
(New York City) The number of homophobic and other hate sites on the internet is increasing at an alarming rate a report released Monday by an international human rights organization says.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has kept track of hate sites on the net for the past nine years. Its most recent report details more 200 of about 4,000 online hate sites it monitors.

The Digital Terrorism and Hate report describes a "a small but virulent subculture of hate within the burgeoning billions of available online pages."

Some of the sites advocate killing gays. Others deny the Holocaust. And, still others provide online games that allow children to "shoot" illegal immigrants, Jews and blacks.

1. Bush doctrine has brought out the true nature of his politics
His true colors are showing through more and more each passing day. This is sending signals to his trailer dwelling masses its OK to lynch a few once again. Look for sharp spikes in hate crimes as the elections come closer

4. Excuse me, but I live in a mobile home.
Why do people associate those who live in mobile homes with low lifes?

10. I lived in a trailer park for awhile.
I can't say I disagree with Mr. Foxworthy on most trailer park residents. Yes, there are a few that are clean, respectable places, but I still would rather live in a GP Medium tent in the woods in January with a smoky kerosene heater and inquisitive bears than live in a trailer park and deal with some of the lowlifes who live there.

13. Totalitarian Darkness Stirs, the Shadow lengthens
This is perfectly legitimate (please don't confuse me with someone who SUPPORTS these hate sites, though) outgrowth of the Orwellification and Bushification of Imperial Amerika.

If we aren't careful, soon these fuckers are going to return to their Natural Ways...murderous and arsonous. If the Busheviks give them ANY SIGNAL that it will be "Mississippi 1930s" style "investigation" and "prosecution", these Monsters will begin.

This is absolutely unsurprising as a development in Imperial Amerika.

14. The masters of the media
The powerful elite ruling class in America, who actually rule and give the president and other politicains their marching orders, also rule the media. They know how powerful the internet is.

Remember Howard Dean's campaign? His meteoric success largely due to organizing with the internet was not lost on the ruling class. They are waging class and ideological warfare on the internet just as much as we are using it to organize and find out the truth.

http://www.zmag.org/chomsky/sam/sam-3-5.html

... Whether they're called "liberal" or "conservative," the major media are large corporations, owned by and interlinked with even larger conglomerates. Like other corporations, they sell a product to a market. The market is advertisers -- that is, other businesses. The product is audiences. For the elite media that set the basic agenda to which others adapt, the product is, furthermore, relatively privileged audiences.

So we have major corporations selling fairly wealthy and privileged audiences to other businesses. Not surprisingly, the picture of the world presented reflects the narrow and biased interests and values of the sellers, the buyers and the product.

Other factors reinforce the same distortion. The cultural managers (editors, leading columnists, etc.) share class interests and associations with state and business managers and other privileged sectors. There is, in fact, a regular flow of high-level people among corporations, government and media. Access to state authorities is important to maintain a competitive position; "leaks," for example, are often fabrications and deceit produced by the authorities with the cooperation of the media, who pretend they don't know.

In return, state authorities demand cooperation and submissiveness. Other power centers also have devices to punish departures from orthodoxy, ranging from the stock market to an effective vilification and defamation apparatus. ...

...These sectors of the doctrinal system serve to divert the unwashed masses and reinforce the basic social values: passivity, submissiveness to authority, the overriding virtue of greed and personal gain, lack of concern for others, fear of real or imagined enemies, etc. The goal is to keep the bewildered herd bewildered. It's unnecessary for them to trouble themselves with what's happening in the world. In fact, it's undesirable -- if they see too much of reality they may set themselves to change it. ...
