2. Even my husband, the skeptic, gave props to Edwards.
He is so REAL.

And he has great ideas, along with the other stuff - smarts, looks, likeability, etc.

5. Oh Forkboy, his smile lights up the room!
Yes, I liked Edwards going into this, but I was really nervous about how he would perform tonight.

I honestly thought he hit a home run.

I also thought Gephardt did well (whom I don't really like).

And Kerry (whom I like).

I thought everyone did well except DK (overheated) and Lieberman.

14. Well, I'm a Kucinich fan, but
I agree, Edwards was great. I think he won the debate. Since that was the question, I have to vote for Edwards. Could also give him the vote for "most improved". Someone lit a fire under him. Congratulations, whoever that was.

For real. Why can't we have our very own coalition of the willing.

16. LOL They are all adorable.
Except the runt :-)

(Now that's just a little GOOD NATURED 'short' humor. I'M short!)

Dean has grit and strength.

Edwards mentioned the mill 5 times in one answer. 5 times.

18. But it's important. Edwards wasn't GIVEN anything.
But he knows how the system is rigged against the "have nots". I love his compassion, his proposals to help those not to the manor born.

8. edwards is always fabulous
his approach is a bit different than some of the other candidates but i like it. his and gephardts is not much different from each other in fact because of their similar backgrounds of coming from a working family. but it is something that makes me like both very much, and something that would be appealing to a large range of people. it's actually kind of like bill clinton in how they made it up themselves unlike the chimp.

17. Hey, you better add Kucinich in with that group!
He's the poorest of the lot. Honestly, that makes me love him even more. Someone who has gotten as far as he has without getting rich is an honest candidate. More power to him. I am depending on him to correct what's wrong, mainly his ascerbic style. There certainly is a place for that, just not with every breath. I love, love, love him.

13. Yeah I noticed that too.
And he made me roll my eyes every time he mentioned his mill work experience, and tried to convince us he his just a regular guy. He may be, but let that come out naturally. He's trying to force it.

10. Chimpy admit it, Dean was good too
They were actually all pretty good in their own way. Graham fell a bit to me, Lieberman yuk of course.

My favorites tonight were Edwards, Dean and Sharpton. 'I'm the conservative'... brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

Kerry sounded like there was something wrong with his voice, but even so, his message still fell a little flat tonight. Not sure what that was about.

15. Sandnsea, I love all your posts. i just don't like Dean.
He did well tonight. But I just hate the way he put himself on the map by attacking other candidates. Now that Lieberman is attacking Dean, don't we all see how unseemly it is?

Dean did fine tonight. But I think he's a phony.

I think Edwards is the real effing deal. and Kerry, I like a lot, too.

19. You probably know we agree
But I have to give credit where credit is due.

Speaking of phony, I could swear he talked about raising retirement to 68, didn't he? Tonight he said he never said that, right?

And, aw gee, you love all my posts? I'm so flattered.

21. There is something about Dean that I don't like,
maybe it's his very elite upbringing. Chimp is a good example of what we get when the CIC is an elitist. Sorry, I just read a Dean bio and that's what I got from it. No matter how it's disguised, that upbringing is there. I don't think he ever had to worry about paying his bills or interest rates. I will vote for a candidate who understands what hard work is. I just hope either Kucinich, Edwards, or Gephardt get the nod. I didn't mean in the election between our candidate and Bush. I would never give Bush the nod.
