Great Cactus Pryor commentary on Iraq from Austin this morning
Edited on Fri Apr-16-04 02:11 PM by jor_mama
Don't know how many of you know of Cactus Pryor, but he's been in broadcasting in Austin for something over 50 years. He is 82 years old.

He's unapologetically Democratic on a mostly conservative station in Austin (KLBJ 590AM). Most of what he does nowadays is a "morning update" ... they are 2-minute monologues on everything from his time in WWII to driving around Austin to -- this morning -- how Iraq is so much more similar to Vietnam than WWII.

More words of mine are futile in trying to encapsulate Cactus' comments:

(on edit, added "on Iraq" to subject line)

1. I had completely forgotten about Cactus Pryor!
I used to see him at The Stallion (best chicken fried steak on the planet!).
