5. this fantasy got me LOL ....
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 07:23 AM by hadrons
I emailed a liberal friend of mine, for his opinion on tonights Press Conference. (who isn't filled with hatred for George W. Bush and voted for Al Gore in 2000 and objected to the war in Iraq, He also has said that he thought President Bush did a good job handling 9/11 and admitted that Al Gore might not have responded to 9/11 like George W. Bush did.), So he is what I would call a fair minded Liberal.
His response was that he thought the President came off as extremely credible and sincere, he said he thought GWB answered all but the "What mistakes have you made" questions completely and honestly. He said he thought he will be voting for GWB this November because he doesn't think John Kerry is truthful or has what it takes to ignore popular opinion and lead in tough times

I'm still in shock

13. 'attend to the quality of your friends'
from a movie once saw....
remember, the 'truth' lacks the ease of comprehending that big lies do, and that has always been the moral dilemma our species (this excludes freepers and bugeye monsters) have tried to fix...
i say outlaw the rightwing, and tell your friend rightwing thinking is dishonest, self destructive thinking, kept in check by truth.
every history book tells us that!

14. " Al Gore might not have responded to 9/11 like George W. Bush did."
I agree! Gore probably would have responded differently, by, oh I don't know... not lying to the public!!!! Duh.

19. the events of 9/11 would not have occurred if Bush had not been installed
into the White House. Gore would have persisted with the airport security stuff at the very least.

not answering a single question and that his non-answers confirmed to the world that he is the bumbling buffoon we all know him to be , then they are right.

24. ?!
They seem to think the press was "un-American" to ask those questions. The Freepers claim they want answers, but when the damn media finally gets off its duff and ASKS the hard questions, they clam up and brand it "anti-American." How mature.

32. LOL! I think they already do.
A whole bunch of them fit the criteria for "Anti-Social Personality Disorder" remarkably well.

Makes sense, since their Fearless Leader seems to have numerous traits matching "Narcissistic Personality Disorder."

Anyone at this point that still believes in shrub has some serious mental disorder. Just as he is incapable of admitting mistakes so are they.
Let them go down with his ship. They are both traitors to this nations ideals and lost souls anyway.

Then attack the "liberal media" for printing trashy headlines like, "President Bush Choked On His Own Vomit."

17. "I don't pay attention to polls" - there's only
one reason bush had a press conference last night - the polls. I'm totally dismayed at the gullibility of our country. Chris Matthews asked David Gregory last night - "Don't you think the president seemed a little more humble tonight? Gregory - No

23. My thoughts..
1) With nearly 700 dead servicemen & women, what kind of questions do they think the "liberal" media should be asking? Mr President, leader of the most benevolent nation in the world, what is your favorite color?

2) Their forum is really unprofessional.

3) What with those idiots and the ones that called C-Span this morning supporting the moron, I think I may have to leave the country after the election.

27. A quote...
"Bush could go a long war toward winning the war on terror by locking up the Washington press corps.

I second that idea! In fact, it is an outstanding idea!"

And they accuse us of being communists when it is their ideas which are anti-democratic. We are not communists, but they sound freakishly fascist.

30. Until the press corps stands together
and demands answers to their questions (instead of *'s blathering non-answers), they may as well be bitch-slapped.

Recall the show of solidarity among the journalists in Baghdad when several of their Arabic colleagues were ejected by the Governing Council. That is how real journalists behave.
