There is no 'I' in Iraq
Because he's widely assumed to be simple-minded people don't pay much attention to what Bush actually says--with real presidents each word is parsed for weighty import but everyone knows Bush is just struggling to talk at all.

That said... WHY doesn't anyone pick up on the fact that he always refers to himself as interchangeable with "America." Who the fuck says things like, "When I went to war..." "What I told Saddam..." "When I say something..." (The usual practice for real presidents is to refer to their international actions as being actions of the nation. Lot's of "we," and very little "I")

But tonight the psycho transcended his own deviance--actually said "my government" when referring to the entire bureaucracy, including career civil servants. Either Bush thinks a) this is Britain where they say 'government' where we say 'administration,' or b) he really does think he's the emperor.
