I don't believe in LIHOP. The evidence just isn't there, IMHO -- or if it is, I haven't seen it.

On the other hand, I think that a LIHOP revelation is the *only way* we can possibly end this cycle of war and terrorism.

So, true believers, here's your chance. Convince me. I'm skeptical but open-minded.

And please stick to credible sources (not Michael Ruppert or whatreallyhappened.com). And don't attribute anything to remote viewing or psychic abilities (yes, I've actually seen these things done before).

I'm sincerely interested in hearing the other side of the story, so please don't flame me or call me a FReeper. The last time I posted a message like this one, I was emailed threats and accused of being a spook.

1. Here's one thing that always raises my eyebrow

No video footage of the hijackers boarding the planes exists. The film of Atta is at another airport, not Logan. I've heard this attributed to blackouts or electrical failures. And why so few black boxes surviving?

Why did the secret service not run to Bush's defense at the elementary school? He could have been at risk.

Note: I'm a borderline LIHOPer. I started believing it two summers ago. Now I'm wondering if it wasn't just massive stupidity, but I'm pretty well versed in LIHOP lore.

Also, most of the "hard evidence" required is not available, and we haven't been able to get it. Ruppert, et al, provide accurate news media reports, forming an outline. But the data points, such as who bought the put options, etc, have never been answered flat out.

Also consider, how we really haven't done much to REALLY protect ourselves from terrorism. We're really leaving ourselves totally exposed if the terrorism threat is as real as we're being told.

of like 3 of the hijackers going past security. But I've never seen them boarding the plane.

8. The parallel to LIHOP is this

A man has a rich father. When the father dies, the son gets his inheritance. So one night the father is stabbed. The son is uncurious to find out how the killer got past the security system, and is uncooperative with the authority figures. You haven't seen the bloody knife if the son's hand, but it just looks weird. This is the stage I'm at. Nobody in any position of authority will ask the son, "Where were you that night?" So all we can do is sit and wonder about all of the weird things that happened.

So far, no one has offered a plausible explanation for the following sequence of events:

In May 2001 the U.S. State Department met with Iran, German and Italian officials to discuss Afghanistan. It was decided that the ruling Taliban would be toppled and a "broad-based government" would control the country so a gas pipeline could be built there.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Embassy in the UAE received a call that Bin Laden supporters were in the U.S. planning attacks with explosives. It was rumored that Bin Laden was interested in hijacking U.S. aircraft.

In July 2001, the private plot formulated in May for toppling the Taliban was divulged during the G8 summit in Genoa, Italy. Immediately after the conference, American, Russian, German and Pakistani officials secretly met in Berlin to finalize the strategy for military strikes against the Taliban, scheduled to begin before mid-October 2001

9. The first hurdle to jump

If you can't believe that they could, or would, LIHOP, then there is no use going any further.

The very few facts that we are able to know (because the facts are still state secrets) point to something very very strange occurring. Facts like:
No air defense being launched,
The continued reading in a school room after being told "America is under attack",
The conflicting accounts from official sources,
And the obstruction of the rest of the facts,
just has to lead one into a LIHOP mindset.
