1. You must think you live in Fee Country or something to ask that
In Imperial Amerika, the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Marcos' Phillipines, or Baby Doc's Haiti, the answer would be EXACTLY THE SAME.

No.

2. The questions are already written and the answers prepared
This will be nothing but an attempt to improve Bush's poll numbers. I will be more of a political add then a press conference.

Bush will have his ear piece in. The press will have prepared questions in hand and Bush will recite the prepared answers. This is not a press conference!

3. Never happen. More like questions like "what's next for Iraq?"

5. He'll get asked, and will ignore it
In fact, I predict Bush will be asked many important questions, but he'll only give answers to the questions that put him in a positive light, questions that would help him to win re-election. If he answers questions about Iraq casualties I will faint from shock.

8. even that exposes him for what he is
the press is a pack. if they start to smell, whatever it is they smell, that herd in my dreams will turn on the miserable failure as they elbow each other for the scoop.

6. Not a chance

I am sure the "reporters" have been assured that there are black-ops snipers in place to discourage any such insolent behavior toward his majesty.

7. What will they do with Helen Thomas?
My guess is she'll be drugged with LSD and sent wandering, confused, through the halls of the White House.

9. It could happen
The press is feeling feisty lately. He will not answer the question because there is an on-going investigation.

10. I'm sure his questions have to be submitted for preapproval
and he'd lie about that anyway.

11. Of course we'd know his answer...
...but just raising the question, especially on the national stage, is worthwhile.
