It was an open case. You can't call an open case "historical." It was an ongoing investigation.

I just want this "historical" term shredded. A person can't refer to the very recent past as "historical." What I ate for luch today is not "historical" infomation simply because it was in the past.

in detective work its called criminal histories, and this was an investigation. The next time they say historical ..you say, oh you mean the criminal histories and watch their face go blank. Republicans are only good at word play, we have to learn how to play back.
