Another example of an awful Newsmax lie

"Gee this looks bad" I thought as I stumble across this headline from Newsmax screaming, BLACKS NOT WANTED!. The tone insinuates that CBS does not want to interview blacks because their reporters and newspeople are racist. So I read more to see just how racist the "liberally biased" CBS news program is. WHat I find is that it is all a really cheap attempt to falsely smear Dan Rather and CBS and to try and bolster the case made by Bernie Goldberg in his book.

This article mentions a memo sent by CBS trying to solicit interviews with former welfare recipients who obtained a job, then lost it in the current economy. In the memo, there is a quote: "Reporter prefers the individual/family NOT be African-American". Newsmax says this is obvioulsy racist, as CBS reporters clearly don't want to talk to black people.

The actual point of this request by CBS, as we find out in a later quote buried in teh article, is that they did not want to simply endorse the stereotype that all people on welfare are black. They wanted to also show that whites too are on welfare and are also having trouble in this economy. Newsmax distorts this to try and call CBS racist. Just shameful.

Has just written the latest Hillary Bashing book. It is quite obvious that NEwsmax operates by creating then selling scandals. Chris Ruddy the founder of Newsmax probably made his fortune off of Bill CLinton. Check that, he made it off of Richard Mellon Scaife on the subject of Bill CLinton.
