More questions about PDB's in general ?
Who gives them to the pResident? Is it the CIA and FBI and the NSC? Why do they give him a daily briefing? To give him a "historical" account or to brief him on intelligence that is most recent and up to the minute?

In regards to the PDB of August 6, 2001, who told Bush that al Qaeda was determined to attack US? Why did they tell him at that time? We have heard that there was a lot of "chatter" talking about hitting our country. Was this a common daily briefing or was it unusual in its content? Because of its secrecy, it was not a common briefing from intelligence. That alone, would tell us that it was unique information and worthy of followup.
