Imagine if Clark and Biden join
Wow, 11 candidates on stage in a debate? Whoa! They each would probably only get 30 seconds or less for an answer. Talk about crowded and a cumbersome debate!

1. If they'll help bash the Bush Administration
that's fine with me. But both seem to be of the boring "statesmen" school of sucking up.

3. So I really like Clark...
...but can anyone please explain to me why they think Biden has a chance and why he's even deluded himself into running?

I mean, isn't he just a slightly improved Lieberman? I know he has some foreign affairs cred, but he would really turn off the base as Lieberman does with his social conservatism. RAVE act, yuck. And then there's that plagiarism thing...

4. I don't know either

It doesn't make sense for him to run in my opinion. I honestly hope Clark and Biden stay out, and Mosley Braun drops out soon. Then the lesser candidates should drop out shortly after the first primary I think.

We need to winnow this field badly.

5. Although I find Biden generally annoying with his
bush ass-kissing, I think he would play well with the general electorate. Flame away, but I think Biden would offer voters, across more demographics (than the current candidates), a realistic choice over shrub.

8. I like and respect Biden
One may disagree with Biden's hawkish stance, but I've seen him on the Senate floor bashing the heck out of BushCo like nobody else. His stance on the war is similar to Kerry, Edwards, Clinton and the other moderate Dems who believed in the multilaterlist way to deal with Iraq. Biden is a very loyal Democrat with a very good liberal record. I've never seen him as Bush-lite or a Bush ass kisser the way I do Lieberman and Gephardt.

6. If Biden gets in that would be the end of Kerry
in my opinion. Biden and Kerry would split their vote as the "experienced center-left Dem with strong foreign policy credentials" and Dean would be the one standing. Supposedly, while in session Kerry was overheard asking Biden "why are you doing this?". It would not be good for Kerry if Biden gets in. I really hope Biden comes to his senses and stays out, for Kerry's sake.
