4. Because the Bush Junta lied to Congress about WMDs in Iraq...
...and provided them with false, manipulated "intelligence." In other words, Kerry was fooled, along with a lot of other congressional Democrats.

14. That would be nice, wouldn't it?
I can only assume that the Democrats figure if they give Bush enough rope, eventually he'll hang himself. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet.

16. The D's can't afford to
give him much more rope..every minute that they wait longer, we're in deeper shit. They've got more than enough to throw them all in the slammer. Why must they play along! If the situation were reversed, it would've been over long ago.

8. not happy about these deaths....my own cousin was KILLED in Vietnam
my Dad was seriously injured in WWII, my uncle still has shrapnel in him from Korea....

my nephew and my brother's wife are currently serving in Iraq...

what made you think anyone is 'happy' about our soldiers KILLED and injured? I do believe that the pResident OWES some honor to the dead, and bush* should return from vacation to deal with these on-going battles....isn't 'little georgie' the commander-in-chief of OUR military....shouldn't he be at work RIGHT NOW, while OUR soldiers fight major battles in Iraq???

BTW, welcome to DU, Gramps.....you won't find pro-bush* people here at all...

here at DU, we are PRO-PEACE...and of course, we hope you are too...
:hi:
