1. They must agree that there were WMDs in Iraq at one time or another because Saddam used them on his own people.

2. They must agree that if we don't fight them there, then we will surely have to fight them here.

3. They must agree that Saddam was a terrible tyrant that killed hundreds of thousands of his own people.

4. They must agree that the people of Iraq deserve "freedom" and when they get it, the entire Middle East will want it.

5. They must agree that George W Bush is doing a good job fighting the "war on terrorism".

6. They must agree that it is only a small group of insurgents that we are fighting and that is because they hate "freedom".

7. They must agree that we have to stay the course.

In other words, the Republicans are saying that George W Bush and his Party have just committed a bigtime, major foreign policy blunder and the Democrats must help them keep digging the hole until they come out the other side. The Democrats must agree with all their premises,otherwise, they are "weak on defense" and want to "cut and run". The Republicans wish to be told that they are doing an honorable thing by using our young men and women as sacrifice so that they do not look like the fools they are. They want the Democrats to submit to their reading of reality - no matter how out of touch they happen to be. Democrats should not remind them of their lies and deceptions, otherwise, they are playing politics with the national security of this nation. Democrats need to get in lockstep with the Republican fuck-ups.
