Young Repug apologizes for thinking for himself.
Jebus. What a moron.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1113084/posts

After reading the local, state, and national newspapers and the current event articles on same sex marriage, I felt very confused and undecided. For the first time in my life, I had mixed emotions against the Republican party. I'm not quite sure why I felt this way - maybe it was how the issue was presented by the media. Then, I shared my confused thoughts with other people and I allowed myself to be influenced by others who are not in support of the Republican cause. What I should have done is consult my fellow College Republicans and other conservatives (family, etc.) first on the issue in an attempt to learn more about the issue from a Republican standpoint. Instead, I allowed myself to be confused by the media and influenced by the media and other parties. I talked to non-Republicans in an attempt to gain a different perspective - what a grave mistake that was since I was already confused. I just wasn't thinking and my judgment was clouded. How foolish of me. To my fellow College Republicans and other conservative and moderate Republicans, I am truly very sorry and I hope that in time you can all forgive me.

Fortunately, after reading the Bible, he decided that his foray into the world of the thinking individual was a huge mistake. I'm sure he will never again venture to seek out opinions from non-conservatives, for fear they will once again corrupt his right-thinking ways.

2. Very Cult-Like Mentality
This is why cults seclude themselves in compounds, to limit exposure to dissenting/alternate POV's.

9. "Cult-like" is the first thought that came to my mind, as well.
Can somebody help me understand one thing?

Why are they so AFRAID of dissenting viewpoints?

7. Did you catch the freeper use of the FedEx ad?
Note the disclaimer: Click the photo to see the FedEx ad. FedEx is not associated with Free Republic. It's just a darn cool ad.

Are freepers too damned stupid to know that the guy who thought up FedEx was John Kerry's college roommate?

As for the freeper apology, I'm sure that guy found out quickly that he would face a lifetime of vicious attacks from his own "friends and family" if he didn't recant his statements re gay marriage.

11. These are the words of a Nazi-ish mind
Observe...

After reading the local, state, and national newspapers and the current event articles on same sex marriage, I felt very confused and undecided. For the first time in my life, I had mixed emotions against the Nazi party. I'm not quite sure why I felt this way - maybe it was how the issue was presented by the Jews. Then, I shared my confused thoughts with other people and I allowed myself to be influenced by others who are not in support of the Nazi cause. What I should have done is consult my fellow Hitler Youth and other Nazis(family, etc.) first on the issue in an attempt to learn more about the issue from a Nazi standpoint. Instead, I allowed myself to be confused by the Jews and influenced by the Jews and other parties. I talked to non-Nazis in an attempt to gain a different perspective - what a grave mistake that was since I was already confused. I just wasn't thinking and my judgment was clouded. How foolish of me. To my fellow Nazis and other National Socialist aligned people, I am truly very sorry and I hope that in time you can all forgive me.

And all I had to do was switch "Republican" with "Nazi" and "media" with "Jew" and one place changed "moderate republicans and others" to
"other National Socialist aligned people" (my biggest stretch, and not much of one at that).

Seamless, isn't it? A Comrade or an Rev. Moonie apologizing in the same way would be indistinguishable.

It is the Totalitarian Midset that we and ALL Free Americans MUST OPPOSE!

I have no problem with this little Dronehead Brownshirt and his Brainless Echo Chamber, it is when these weak fools merge under the banner of cunning and try to rig the system and take MY FREEDOM AWAY.

:grr:

Although, I don't believe they should be Gulagged any more than we deserve to be.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Even if that opinion is to lick the boots unquestionably of Bushevik Masters.

It is only because thee people are trying to rig our nation on almost every front, falsely magnifying their power and population...like Soviet Commies.

15. Maoist-Style FReeper Self-Criticism Anyone?
Jeepers, this text reads like a Maoist doing public "self-criticism" for not acting according to the thoughts of the "Great Helmsman" and not thinking good Mao Tse Tung thought, minus the Marxist/Maoist jargon.

If this kid is for real, he is doomed to a lifetime of mental tyranny with himself as his own political and ideological jailer.

Let's let those of us Believers pray for him and hope that captive goes free soon.

modern-day conservatism makes it too easy for people to follow. Just obey the repugs, no matter what. Do not question. Flip on Rush, or his wannabees, or Faux and let the brainwashing begin. Do not think for yourself.
