How long can they keep pigeon-holing the deaths to keep #s low?

This from Yahoo! today:

"The deaths bring to 441 the number of U.S. troops killed in action in Iraq since the invasion last year to oust Saddam Hussein."

I am utterly amazed at that blatant lie, because anyone who has been paying attention knows this number is much greater. Where did the 441 number come from, anyway? They keep dividing up the deaths so that the true number appears small. "Number of deaths since Bush declared Mission Accomplished. Number of deaths on Mondays. Number of deaths on Mondays during March. Number of deaths to troops whose surnames start with R. Number of deaths to troops whose surnames start with X."

This is getting ridiculous, not to mention SICKENING.

1. Many have died over there

because of accidents or non-combat action. This is not really a lie, but simply a criminally misleading statistic. They should quote the number killed because they are there in the first place. Looks like Yahoo! is on board with the fascists.
