Job numbers, schmob numbers. 41% say US in recession
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/daily.htm

Forty-one percent (41%) of Americans say the U.S. economy is in a recession while 39% disagree. In late December, January, and February, a plurality of Americans consistently said the recession was over. That perception shifted in March.

Today, 36% of Investors believe the recession is over and 50% say it is not. Among non-Investors, 45% say the recession is still with us.

1. Note the interesting fact that. . .
. . . the investor class is actually MORE pessimistic than the non-investor class. That is a bad sign for the Dubster.

2. Everyday in the WSJ
they have a table of company insiders buying and selling. I should say selling. Rarely does anyone buy a million dollars of their own stock but many sell tens of millions of their own stock. If everything was rosy wouldn't you be buying your stock instead of selling. this has been ongoing in record proportions.
