i'm still waiting for y2k, and i think it finally arrived. in the election year 2000. i don't see anything good on the horizon either.
in fact, i haven't felt this much actual dread in the air since in was a kid during the cuban missile crisis. duck and cover

what, exactly? So that you could drive to the looted stores? Escape to the hills where you'll live off the land or get shot for trespassing? Or, most likely, be a sitting duck in grid lock?

I just feel better knowing that there is a full tank, if I don't use it I can siphon it out for the marshmallow woman.
