Lou Dobbs is a Democrat whether he's admitting it or not!
The guy is a populist, pro-labor, anti-corporate spokesperson, par execellance! I bet he's contributing to Kerry.

1. He wasn't in 2001
This is the only hit for the last three elections (and, yes, this is the same Lou Dobbs):

DOBBS, LOU MR
SUSSEX,NJ 07461

SPACE.COM/EXECUTIVE

1/4/2001

$1,000

Bush, George W

7. I know all that, but people change. And I sense Lou has.
I refused to watch him 3+ years ago, but he's definitely different now. The * horrors have altered us all, in many ways.

3. Why do you think CNN would can him?
Although CNN does kiss Bush ass sometimes, Time-Warner has some very liberal aspects such as TIME magazine.

4. TIME used to be liberalish
it hasn't been since 9/11 though.

They booted Ted Rall and Joel Stein...it's pretty crappy now

9. Have you read it recently?
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 06:29 PM by Hippo_Tron
Their suggested rading List is "Against all enemies", "House of Bush House of Saud", "American Dynasty", and "The Price of Loyalty". How much more liberal do you expect them to get? It may not be a great magazine but it's mainstream media that is biased as hell against conservatives and the Bush administration.

5. IMO
CNN has become a JR Faux News. Liberalism is dying on CNN faster than U.S. Soldiers in Iraq.

18. I so hope you're correct. CNN used to be a really good, unbiased
news source. Maybe he's the one protecting Lou from the corporate sponsors.

6. America is so messed up right now
10 years ago Pat Buchanan was about as radical right-wing as they came. Now, he sometimes sounds like the voice of reason. Lou Dobbs is a conservative, but he is not a neo-con.

13. Please respond to my argument above re "suggested reading"
I'm sick and tired of making arguments that people who disagree with me just ignore and post their own arguments.

How can a magazine be Bush enabling if their suggested reading list is all of the anti-Bush books published in the past few months.

25. you're right there..
but the damage was done long ago, even pre 911. read 'up from conservativism' by lind for example. anyway, maybe a sea change is occuring re the reading list... problem is, the damage done by the 'reagan revolution' which this bush admin is only latest incarnation of, is so terrible (and most of the cost was PLANNED only to emerge when the democrats take over, if at all) the cost can never be calculated (just the corrupting of mass media itself; how do we fix it?)
time mag may now have come to its sense, but they still should hang for what they've helped the rightwing pigs do....
mind you i haven't looked at a copy of time mag for years, i just know porno when i see it.

All I wanted was somebody to dispute my argument in one way or another. While I disagree with the arguments because they are all considered "traitors" by the Republican party, I'm glad that you respondeed in some way.
