With the Iraq war about to begin, I ask you this question

Why the hell did you not support Dennis Kucinich. He has been on the right side of this (and every) issue.

How could this be any worse if we had brought our troops home?

I hate being so damn angry.

Dennis - we need you.

5. IF you are right
America will cease to exist as a nation.

I disagree with you. Our leaders set the agenda. They define the path. MOST people do not want war. Only the profiteers want war. IMHO

9. That's my point exactly

Kerry is offering a variant of idiot boy's policy. Only Dennis laid out a clear alternative. I fear for our country.

6. Get bent
I did everything I could to oppose the war and to encourage my friends to oppose the war before it began. We worked like hell to stop this war before it started. And now you're berating me for not supporting your special candidate?

What did you do to try to stop the war? Would Kucinich as the presumptive nominee stop the bloodshed today? I think not.

14. Let me break it down for ya
in order for a debate to take place there must be two DISTINCT positions taken. If that doesn't happen, there is no debate. Of all the candidates only Dennis Kucinich saw that the only alternative to Bush's policies is a complete withdrawal. Had he gained more support, there might have been a more vibrant discussion and that would, in fact, affect what happens on the ground.

On to other matters. It's easier to say "DITTO" that to type a whole sentense.

Cheers

16. I can't tell you how many people have said that
followed invariably by the wierd or strange characterization. Are we at DU that far out of the mainstream liberal movement? Makes me wonder. I don't feel like a fanatic.

17. World War III started in the early 90's under Poppy Skull & Bones
It was hot for a little while, then quieted down for a few years, flaring back up to Hellacious levels under Junior Skull & Bones.

It never really ended. It has just gone through phases. We appear to be entering the very next nastiest phase.

Thank you not at all, Mr. George aWol Appointee, sir. What a mass of suffering and destruction you have needlessly wrought with your lies, sir.

18. I voted for Kucinich.
But I'm settling for Kerry. I really don't feel he can fix what Shrub broke, so even if the Dems win the 2004 election, we'll probably see PNAC Redux in 2008 in one form or another.
