Is it me or is it hardto understand the FREEPERs SIte
Freerupblic is so DISORGANIZED. I can't tell who is replying to whos message. or where to go. DU looks so great in comparison. Thanks DU.

PS They have gotten better with those lines. Also, ain't this the funniest thing you've seen.

3. No, its not just you at all.
There is no organization to the way the threads are organized, 3/4 of the posts in a thread are "bump", or "ping", insane fundie ramblings, or seemingly overt racism.

Sorry for the rant. Yes, you are right, the site is incredibly sloppy.

I think the learning curve is steeper over there.

Most forums or message boards have a much more linear posting structure than DU, which is tree like, and allows you to reply recursively to other replies. The Latest page is distinctive of DU, and the priority listing of LBN was a stroke of genius.

6. I agree that inside a thread they seem more disorganized but
they have that great indexing system so it is easier to keep track of threads. Here during the day the activity is heavy and it is hard to keep track of the threads you are interested in.
