It?s my honor to team up with MoveOn.org, which I am told has made use of the Internet to great effect. While I myself do not have an Internet, my son does, and he says you guys are terrific.

Here?s the deal. My job is rhetorical jiu-jitsu: I take the words of right-wing jerks, and I use those words to heap scorn and ridicule upon them. It?s what I do. And I need your help. These guys say so many stupid and dishonest things every day that no one man possibly can sift through all of them. I need you to be my eyes and ears, so that no right-wing ideologue can ever again safely traffic in distortion and calumny.

Yea, I say unto thee. Let the flaming sword of justice rain down blows upon them, that they may rue the day when this contest was announced.

1. Of private guards in Iraq

Reduce the salary and assign a personal guard to every Iraqi, thus helping world employment. With such blanket protection they don't need heavy arms or much "elite" training.

As permanent new citizens of Iraq half the oil revenues(or such as trickle down to the populace)will finance them and support their families. This tactic could be used elsewhere and move whole populations(Africa? Latin America?) to where the real dough is. Then we could export fired auto workers to pick the coffee and bananas in "Florida-like" climates. Leftover peons could be hired as Hollywood extras in the US.

For those for whom too far is just not far enough. There is win-win in logical extremism isn't there?

2. hmmm, this kinda seems like overkill

the lies tend to get highlighted anyway, a contest would just result in hundreds of duplicates of the same quotes.

a better contest for moveon/franken/aa would be making an ad that features a RW lie, the winners get on the air, AA gets free content, everybody is happy!
