Janeane Garofalo and Sam Seder post at Dean blog.
This was nice. She was a huge Dean supporter, and I think they posted it because of the ones having trouble getting on board. This was nice, and it will help.

SNIP..."Our Friends at Air America Radio
A Message from Janeane Garofalo and Sam Seder.

The 2004 election is and will be considered the single most important election in generations. The Bush Administration has attempted to transform America from a beacon of democracy to the world, to an occupying force; from a government of and by the people to a one stop shopping spree for the corporate and wealthiest of interests; and, perhaps most sadly, from a society aspiring to unify itself, to one which is bitterly divided. The Bush administration feels not a shred of accountability but to their moneyed and radically intolerant friends.

We simply can not afford to let this administration have another four years with even less accountability to pursue their agenda of shaping America as an international bully and at home as a theocracy designed to serve only the richest of the rich.

This election is about the future, yours and our Country’s. We can take America back, we can shape our society into one which seeks the best in all of us for the sake of all of us. We can change our role in the world to one which increases our security and inspires others to freedom instead of forcing them to follow. We can do all of this if you are committed to these goals.

What was most amazing about the Dean presidential campaign was you, his supporters. Never in American politics had the average American had such influence in shaping and fueling a presidential campaign. You should feel proud for what you achieved and proud of the fear you caused amongst the fat cats that they might lose their stranglehold on power.

Change doesn’t happen overnight and rarely happens even over a few years, which is why we must remain dedicated, focused and far sighted. This is why we must rally and unify around a single candidate to beat George Bush. Working toward a John Kerry Presidency, ensures that the dreams of the Dean campaign will live on. However, it doesn’t ensure that those dreams will be realized. Only you, your dedication and your commitment can bring real change to this country. We hope you’re up to the challenge.

We’ll be there with you, informing you, listening to you and hopefully picking you up when you need a laugh. You’ll find our show, THE MAJORITY REPORT on the new AirAmerica Network, Monday through Friday at 8pm.

The Left just got a little bit Louder!

Sincerely,

Janeane Garofalo
Sam Seder

1. Janeane is great:-)
Janeane (along with Joan Jett) visisted us at a camp outside of Des Moines, when I went there to help with the Dean campaign right before the caucus. Janeane was SO great! She gave us a pep talk, took pictures and talked to everyone personally, and then climbed up on a top bunk and took questions from everyone. Really, really nice lady!

2. Is that where the famous rally was? With the college Republicans?
Someone got a video of it. I hear Joan Jett really gave it to them. Congrats to you for working for the campaign with boots on the ground. :hi:

I can't get enough of Gov Dean, especially now when he's alone again in opposing Iraq war, and Bush re terrorism.

14. Can you stream it?
We are thinking about XM radio, but are not sure who to subscribe to and all the details. I hear they are expensive, but it was be worth it. Never listen to radio usually. Nothing here but RW.
