2. Clear channel
that should explain it all, sometimes you have to dance with the devil. I've heard commercials for the military, homeland security, no child left behind, and medicare.
I know it's sick, but try to time the commercial breaks and kill the sound, I'm getting abc news also, that sounds like pure propaganda but I've got the speakers off right now, I'll turn the sound on again in a minute.

3. Yeah, lots of fake political ads on ClearChannel
570 in Dallas does that crap. It's supposedly an ad for the station, about how they have breaking news when it counts, etc, but the ad is a montage of W* speeches about Terra.

4. If the station already existed

with another format, they may have some outstanding contracts left over to fufill. If that is the case, I bet they will go away once those contracts expire.

I am glad I didn't hear the "NaZional Right to Starve" spot, I forgot to bring my blood pressure medication to work with me today.

5. yes, I heard that too
...also, the Homeland Security ads.

When they first went on the air on Wednesday I sent a listener feedback e-mail to KPOJ to thank them for the liberal talk format. The response I got was from someone at KEX, one of the Clear Channel stations locally. (I didn't know KPOJ was CC). Also, checking out the KPOJ website, there seems to be some items you wouldn't expect to see on a liberal radio site, like a report "Our Viet War Friends Betrayed by John Kerry". Makes me wonder if, after some period of time, Clear Channel will make some excuse to pull the plug on Air America.
