He's not going to get elected, so anything he would do in office is a moot point. You can keep from breaking 100% of your campaign promises by not getting elected in the first place.

You could say he wants to whip the Democratic Party into shape for the next election, but if Bush* is elected and appoints some right-wing Supreme Court justices, we can't vote them out and they'll be around for like 10-20 years or more. What if one of them ends up being John Ashcroft? It won't matter what the Democratic Party does next time.

Plus, in four years, the World Health Organization estimates 640,000 people will have died from the effects of global warming.

There's basically no plan to what this guy's doing. What does he expect to achieve other than to give his followers the right to say that they felt so disaffected that they did something stupid? One of the only reasons I could think of would be if I had some sort of martyr complex. I see a lot of "oh I'm so offended by all these people mad at me" and "I would never support X and Y that Kerry does", but I see no plan for at least even stopping things from getting worse.

As I said before, the reason people are so condescending to Nader supporters is they should know better. People have given so many reasons why voting for him is a bad idea - what do you do when some people just can't be reached, or when reason is no longer the motivation?

Its like you would rather have Bush to complain about then do the right thing for this country and the world and support the only person who can beat him. I too voted for Kucinich during the primaries but I am not going to throw a temper tantrum and do something stupid that will help bush.
