Speaking in Congress, Republican Majority Leader Bill Frist denounced Karen Hughes and her book by saying, "she could have released this book two years ago. Instead, she waits to release it in an election year. Her book, designed to pump up the President, is an obvious attempt to make money during an election year. Does she have any intention of donating any of this money to the people who have all suffered during the President's term?"
