Your Rights: I think this deserves extra attention
Outrageous and unconstitutional.

http://www.theneworleanschannel.com/news/2953483/detail.html

It's a groundbreaking court decision that legal experts say will affect everyone: Police officers in Louisiana no longer need a search or arrest warrant to conduct a brief search of your home or business.

Leaders in law enforcement say it will provide safety to officers, but others argue it's a privilege that could be abused.

The decision was made by the New Orleans-based 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Two dissenting judges called it the "road to Hell."

The ruiling stems from a lawsuit filed in Denham Springs in 2000.

New Orleans Police Department spokesman Capt. Marlon Defillo said the new power will go into effect immediately and won't be abused.

1. Won't be abused?..yeah, right! How can they get away with this?
Aren't there laws in place that forbid unlawful search and whatever?

I heard about such laws being in place by other agencies, since Bush has been reigning, where cops can come into your home without you even being there. YIKES!

How in the world can ordinary folks, even regular cops, consent to such a thing? It's bizarre, lopsided thinking beyond my comprehension. It's incredible what things people are allowing to befall them. Holy Cow.

Who said anything about "Consent"?

"Consent? We don' NEED no STEENKEEN consent!"

And you tell the cops that "Perps" live in that house, and they want to see them dead."Perps" are not People.

When the Martial Law comes, it won't be soldiers and tanks in the village square, it will be cops dressed like Darth Vader with machine guns.

5. LOL--->'we don't need no stinking consent'
It still puzzles me how the ones who are entrusted to carry out the deeds don't realize what they are doing. I mean, EVERY cop out there isn't the bad guy. We've got brainwashed human beings pitted against their own countrymen. The whole thing is just incredible to me....
