Obviously, Dick Clarke is not yet dead....they must continue the attacks.

They cannot be happy until this man's credibility is completely destroyed. Because his credibility is George W Bush's uncredibility. In order to maintain the war on terrorism as his claim to fame and the reason for people to vote for him in November, Bush must destroy Clark. They cannot let up now.

And today, after his appearance on MTP, it is obvious that Dick Clarke is still alive and still has credibility. This is a big problem. That means that right-wing radio must continue to attack Clarke this week and it means we must suffer even more appearances from Rumsfeld, Powell, and Condi on the cable rightwing talk shows.

How should Kerry handle this situation? In my opinion, while Bush and the WH are obsessed with attacking and destroying Clarke, Kerry should be busy attacking Bush and the WH for their tactics of character assassination and defend the idea of getting the truth. America deserves to know what happened on 9/11 and Bush is wrong to try and prevent any of this information from coming out, under the guise of "executive privilege"...

other response was - Kerry Challenges admin to charge Clarke w perjury (basically if you think you have a case, knock your self out, it'll be fun to watch. . .or bring it on)

2. They'll NEVER destroy him

He's too clear and too credible. They can only put up their best BS defense and HOPE it fades away.

To tell you the truth, I don't think I have EVER seen a political figure more self-possessed, self-assured, and straightforward than Clarke. He totally blows me away!
