1. Silly Novak
He never seemed to think campaign contributions by anti-Clinton people was important during impeachment, etc.

I see nothing wrong with a donation by Clarke to a former collegue who is running for elective office. Anyone check if Clarke ever donated to former Bush I or Reagan staffers who left after the administration and ran for elective office?

2. I heard the charge on Reich Wing Radio Thursday afternoon.
Yes the charges will stick.

Remember what they did to Wes Clark - and those weren't true.

With RW radio beating this home to the Jane & Joe 6-pax 24/7 it will render Clarke useless.

8. Hypnosis, that is how Bush still has a 45+ approval and not a 2% approval
My goodness, think about it,
our troops are being killed like fish in a barrel
Iraq is going horribly wrong
Afghanistan is going horribly wrong
Israel and Palestine is going horribly wrong
Our relations with out allies are non existent
Gas Prices are UP UP UP
The economy still sux
NO JOBS,
Condi Lied and lies
Rummy lied and lies

And Bush still has a approval rating in the 45+% it is because the RW talking points distributed to the Radio stations on a daily basis is being used as mass hypnosis. Those people are buying the bullshit.

Anyone who disagrees with the GWB administration is sensored...ATL Scott Farrell Radio Talk Show Host for Clear Channel.

You bet I have proof. All of the Above.

It is the RW

10. Jane & Joe 6 pak don't listen to RW Radio!
The only people who listen to (and believe what they hear) RW Talk Radio are the staunch R Wingers. Yes this story will energize them, but so what? They will not change their mind. The rest of the country will hear the rest of the stories.

Why do you think the WH attack dogs have been rabid this past week!!!!

We really should make sure they have their shots!!!

13. i disagree
I think you underestimate Jane and Joe 6-pack. There's no question 'Reich Wing Radio' (btw I LOVE that phrase!) will satiate the retarded 20% out there that would never in there lives vote for a Dem. But these are not the folks that will win the election for Kerry.

If you look at what happened in Iowa and New Hampshire, it appears that the era of personal-attack politics may be over. The Bush administration has barely refuted the substance of Clarke's claims, just gone after him personally. I really don't think that sits well with middle-of-the-roaders.

Barring some ridiculous Kerry scandal, or Bush completely cleaning house starting with Uncle Dick, the Bush name will permanently be synonymous with 'one term.'

3. Nothing but an attempt to create a smokescreen...
...this has absolutely no effect on what Clarke is telling us, does it?

You can't change the fact that Clarke was originally appointed by Reagan, then reappointed by Bush I, Clinton, and Junior himself.

You can't change the fact that Clarke has testified IN PUBLIC UNDER OATH concerning our security under Junior against terrorism and how that compared to security under Clinton.

One more point...Novak has stopped being credible years ago. He is currently sweating bullets about his role in the Plame Affair. IMHO, he should be going to jail along with the group in the White House that destriyed Plame's career and exposed her global network that tracked WMDs and the material used to make WMDs.

5. Trivial whining.
If this is the best addled hacks like Novak can come up with, then the unelected president is toast.

Clarke has denied Bush his best campaign ploy, that he is the anti-terrorism president. Now there is reasonable doubt, and given his negatives on just about every other important issue (jobs, economy, outsourcing, deficit), this was a blow he'll never recover from.

And why is it Novak hasn't been thrown in jail for treason yet? Is he now under Bush family protection like Ken Lay and Rush Limbaugh?

Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 10:37 AM by Cat Atomic
he contributed to and nix all the Republicans?

*EDIT*

Ok, I see Novak claims he's contributed only to Democrats... over the last two election cycles.

Lame, Bob.

14. all he needs to say is..
he helped former colleages and if that's all they've got on him, they have no defense to the charges of neglect concerning terrorism.
