Poll question: Is Nader one of the bad guys?
I say yes. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if he has connections to Karl Rove.

1. I agree - I'm sure he's paid by Rove!
and I'm all for banning Nader propaganda on DU for that reason!

5. Tedious is the word...
:-(

Nader's nothing.

Trying to convince the half of the US population to vote for Kerry (or even the Televised Liar*) is tenacious...

9. Don't let this become an argument, please. No reason to get riled up.
I respect Nader. I think he is a great American. I think he makes some valid points about his role in the last election. but I'm just as sure he doesn't intend to make the same mistakes again. I actually think his presence is more help than hindrance. First, there's the triangulation angle. If bush is far right and Nader far left who comes up looking like the reasonable choice to the swing voters in the middle? Also, I feel sure that he will bow out at the end and throw his support to Kerry. Thirdly, he energizes a certain segment that would possibly not be energized otherwise. And those guys hate Bush as much as the rest of us. That can't hurt. And lastly, I don't mind a bit if he pushes the agenda to the left, which is his whole reason for being in the race in the first place. Oh, by the way, I'm solidly behind Kerry.

10. He talks a good talk but ultimately it doesn't matter how you cut the pie

He is sucking precious votes away from Kerry

risking 4 more years of the criminal dimson and his gang of lying shit weasels.

If the greens & far left think there is no difference between Kerry & Dimson then help Dimson get elected to 4 more years & watch in horror at what they do to everything you hold dear.

Don't say you didn't realize. This is no game the far right will consolidate it's power & RULE America for decades if Dimson gets back into power.

If Nader is sincere about what he wants to achieve then I salute him
but he has picked the worst possible time in American History to try and do this. IMO

11. Tough question.

I would say no because of his platform.

But Nader is too intelligent not to be able to understand that his candidacy may effect the outcome of the election, and that he would be partly responsible for Bu$h being elected.

So I am hoping that he drops a bomb at some point and endorses Kerry because he knows he can't possibly win and that allowing Bu$h to continue is too serious of a risk. A public statement encouraging his supporters to vote for Kerry would really rock.

If he continues his candidacy through the election and Bu$h wins, IMO he will go down in history as a fool or a villain. Can you imagine being partly responsible for such insanity?
