If Condi had a good story to tell

they wouldn't be able to shut her up. Even Gergen last night (who, in the end, will ALWAYS side with the Republicans) said it's not at all uncommon for asomeone in her role to testify under oath.

The only good story she CAN tell would be lies, hence she won't won't go under oath.

1. She knows she'll perjure herself.

She was already caught lying.

She said they had no idea that terrorists had the idea of flying a plane into a building. However, there is proof that she had heard that idea before.

Just one small example of her lies, but if she testifies under oath, she's done and she knows it.
