I just got home from the peace march locally. There was a nice turnout and the cops were just leaning up against the buildings. No arrests, no nothing - it was peaceful!

Lots of Kucinich supporters everywhere! It made me proud to be his supporter.

9. rally here was peaceful and WET

what was most odd were the campus cops in front a univ building where lots of govt/war-related research is done. They were holding night-sticks and wearing face -shields... it looked like something Mussolini-like ( or South Korea) It was disturbing, as the local police were fine.

That is a different alert system than the one we use for Homeland Security. Homeland Security only issues alerts for the US.
