4. Terry did a great job of slamming all the reTHUGlican talking points

he was well-prepared....

seems that all reTHUGlicans are on-message so much....same message...over and over...Clinton caused everything...bush* was GREAT in Iraq...the economy is recovering, you just don't notice it....it's easy to predict what a reeTHUGlican will say in a debate....

Terry hit hard on every single point, with facts, and figures....and held gilespie to it....even as gilespie tried to squirm out, changing the subject, interupting, lying....Terry hit back hard...even got in a good Irish remark about 'Catholics' wanting decent homes, jobs, and health care for their families....that's what it's all about....

Terry also talked about bush* lies...the lie of the Iraq war...the lies of Medicare costs, the corruption of the current reTHUGlicans with bribes, political dirty tricks, the photoshop of John Kerry with Jane Fonda, the Osama-bin-forgotten photo with Max Cleland...

Terry spoke firmly and even had 'action' items....demanding that the pResident and his minions (who never served honorably) begin treating OUR Veterans with respect....especially those shot-up in Vietnam....

The Democrats clearly won this debate....

5. brought up the new medicare scandal
I didn't hear about. Hope it catches.

That scandal of course is how officials new the real pricetag for the medicare bill was $140 BILLION more than suggested.

Really painted bush and the thugs as liars, misleaders, thugs, and out of touch with America. He was on fire! Ed gilespee was spinning like mad and was hammered over a question about the rampant republican corruption.

6. Here is an article

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ed Gillespie and Terry McAuliffe returned to their alma mater Thursday night and debated whether Gillespie's Republicans or McAuliffe's Democrats are more responsible for the nasty tone of the presidential campaign.

The two national party chairmen were cautioned to "fight nice" by Father David O'Connell, president of The Catholic University of America - and then proceeded to pile blame on each other for the increasingly hostile campaign.

A crowd of more than 1,000 students and alumni watched the hourlong debate on the Catholic campus in northeast Washington.

snip

"There's been a constant stream of attacks," said Gillespie, a member of the Catholic class of '83. "'The president's a liar, we're all crooks and liars.' College Republicans today, John Kerry has called them the most crooked bunch of liars on campus."
