3. it seems the dem party is more interested
in getting repooks to vote for them, instead of mounting a massive 'get out the vote' / voter registration campaign that would bring in real grassroots support.

i think the dems waste way too much resources trying to appeal to those that ain't going to vote for them anyway, rather than doing the hard work of hitting the streets and motivating their traditional base of immigrants, minorities, blue collar workers, and women.
