A great many of the "traitors" on that list are people who've made great contributions to Amercan culture - I see a prominent graphic designer who literally revolutionized the way we see everyday things, poets so influential they've entered the canon while still alive, musicians who've inspired millions of people, activists and academics who've struggled to change our perceptions and open our eyes and minds.
