Turn Bush's speech on him

Today Dip W. Shit said,

"America must confront threats before they fully materialize."

So . . .

Before the threat of 9/11 fully materialized:

The Clinton administration warned the Bush administration on terrorism and OBL;

Current senators asked for Bush plans for a domestic attack;

Former senators urged that homeland security be addressed;

Bush assigned Cheney a terrorism task force (May '01) and said he would review the task force's findings w/the National Security Council (task force didn't meet, Bush never reviewed anything);

Some kind of serious warning went out in August (vacation time!), about which we know little because the WH is stonewalling on providing the information in the pResident's Daily Briefing;

A budget plan was presented by Ashcroft that did not include increases in intelligence funding asked for by the FBI.

I would say that's a poor showing in confronting a threat before it's fully materialized. What do you think?

why didn't HE? In the ad that says Bush has all the answers..vote for him........well if he has all the answers why is America in such awful shape?
