So is Sully back to his bushloving ways?
I know after the whole gay marriage thing that Andrew Sullivan had said he would make it his goal to not support bush and to actively campaign against him.

Then on Calpundit I read that he's back to criticizing Kerry and praising Bush.

I'm guessing his vow didn't last long (surprise, surprise) but truth be told I refuse to go over to his (Sully) site and give it the traffic it does not deserve. So I can't say for sure. Any regular readers of his site notice this or was I getting the wrong impression from Calpundit?

3. actually, Sully was ripping The Passion lately as well
I'd actually been enjoying his blog the past few weeks, very trenchant analysis of B*sh's pre-emptive KulturKrieg.

They must be holding his mom hostage or something, he was starting to see the light.

2. What was that British group's song? "Master and Servant"
Sullivan must have all the shrinks in town on speed-dial. Half for the "fun, bad Andy whip me beat me", and half for the "republican Andy whip me and beat me'.

4. During the heat of the primaries the pundits wanted to get Dem viewers
Now that Kerry is the expected nominee they are going back to Bush butt licking. I was beginning to think that we were finally going to get fair and balanced coverage of the election season. Then almost overnight all the cable news shows are attacking Kerry and praising Bush?

There must be something driving this. In 2000, the press was hard on Bush until Gore won the nomination then it was 24/7 hits on Gore's character and they gave Chimpy a free ride. The reason given was that the reporters just didn't like Gore. What it the reason now to attack Kerry and his supporters?

I have both heard and read on more than one occasion that Kerry is not well liked by his fellow Congressmen/women and the press.

Gore and Kerry. Pete and Repeat?

7. Kerry is supposed to be rather aloof....
Thus, not as "likable" as the alternative....

8. In regards to the "likable" issue
I think Mr. Sondheim says it best, "nice is different than good"

6. Here's a rule of thumb:
The presstitutes of the so-called "liberal media" would attack Jesus Christ if he was the presumed Democratic nominee.

The Kool Kidz of the Press Korps know that their job is to kiss ReTHUGlican behinds while smearing Democrats.
