The Bush ads: "Uplifting"? "Upbeat"? Hardly!!
I saw one this morning, and the impression I was left with was "Fear! Death! Destruction!... Remember?!? Don't change now, or you're a goner!"

3. The flag, the crumbled towers and a murder victim.
Whoever thought this idea was a brilliant way to start the chimps campaign has totally lost it.

I am very disturbed. That is somebody's dead family member they are showing in that ad. Isn't it ironic, no coffins from Iraq but damn, death from 9-11 is acceptable? Again, this is disturbing and the chimp should be ashamed of what happened on 9-11, not using it has is campaign theme.

4. Have dead bodies ever shown up in a Presidential campaign ad before?

I can't think of any other ones off the top of my head.

I guess this is a milestone, of sorts...

7. You are probably correct but who else other than KKKarl would
stoop to such disgust. To top that off, Hughes has been on all morning trying to justify this vile effort to boost the chimp.

They can all go to hell. That is somebody's family member they are showing to boost the chimp and that is despicable.

8. I don't recall them pulling out "flag-draped" remains. Perhaps I'm wrong.
Is that photo authentic, or "embellished" for PR purposes?

2. Reaction from relatives of victims on CNN

"It's as sick as people who stole things out of the place," said Firefighter Tommy Fee of Queens Rescue Squad 270. "The image of firefighters at ground zero should not be used for this stuff, for politics."
