Oh Man.. Read this caption.. This pic sums it all up

A U.S. soldier stands guard near an army Humvee leaking a pool of diesel fuel and blood at the scene of a grenade attack in Iraqi capital Baghdad on July 28, 2003. A grenade attack in downtown Baghdad Monday wounded and may have killed two U.S. soldiers in broad daylight, the latest in an increasingly bold and deadly guerrilla campaign. (Oleg Popov/Reuters)

2. Great Caesar's Ghost!
That's sinister. They've totally dehumanized the armed forces to the point that they literally are their machinery.

6. Oh boy, Cal
Sorry to hear that. I wish Bush would go to the UN and beg for some help. Our guys are really taking the brunt of it all not only because we're 'goin it alone' but, because they're Americans.

We can't let this one disappear. It's almost a perfect metaphor for the whole situation and it's real. Live people dying. Real people. Not humvees.

I can't believe they're saying that, implying that the lives of our soldiers mean nothing! They should go over and see if THEY could last a week in that hell that they created.
