Did anyone save the photo...
Edited on Fri Aug-01-03 01:26 PM by andyinindy
...of the protest in Najaf where U.S. Marines fixed bayonets against a crowd of 10,000 protesters? The original image (in which the sizeable crowd is shown) appears to have been removed from Yahoo! in favor of a GOP-approved image showing only one protestor:

Thanks in advance!

3. LOL
Yeah, I also found that thread... lots of "napalm them" suggestions and the like. It never ceases to amaze me how culturally enlightened freepers are...

Anyway, thanks for the image, even if it's not the exact one I wanted. I am beginning to become convinced that "someone" had the original image "supressed"....wink wink nudge nudge say no more...

on edit: If you go to this story now on reuters, non-cached, you get the same new pic as yahoo!!!

I know the photo you're talking about.

The stories are all there but that photo is not.

8. Thanks, all...
Nice detective work! While the image found by Dubyawatchers is not exactly the one I remember seeing, it will do nicely for my purposes (for my blog).

Thanks again, you guys. I guess the freepers haven't completely silenced all of the media. Thank the invisible cloud being for Information Clearinghouse!
