260 Business Bankruptcies for 12 months ending March (2001-2002)
"The worstis yet to come"

Details do not include hugh bankruptcies like Burlington Industries--Galey & Lord and Guilford Mills since they are chartered in Delaware..

24 counties of 100 in NC.

Business filings for protection was 9,775 in 2001.

Consumer bankruptcies were 10,910 in 2001. Pillowtex 4,000 jobs gone and no jobs for ones laid off.

GO CHINA! GO! GO WAL-MART GO!

During the past year; the most of any Southern state. :-(

Think all those "NASCAR Dads" among that number are going to vote for Dub this fall? I DON'T! :mad:

John Kerry can make all the boring speeches he wants to; if Dub keeps going around beating his less-than-pigeon-chest about how "great" the economy is, and how "great" it is that we're losing jobs to India and China left and right, then he's going to be evicted from his illegitimate four-year squattage no matter WHAT our nominee says--or how he says it! :grr:

The South strictly a Repub presidential bastion? NOT THIS YEAR, folks!
