I would have said Governor or Lt. Gov of Arkansas, but none of her family live there anymore.

I can't think what her first foray into politics - especially in NY - would be. Mayor of some city in NY? Maybe some state office?

It will be interesting watching her grow up and of course her parents will be for anything she undertakes.

5. No. At least not nationally
A high school senior ran for mayor in the city where I was raised. There was a question if he was eligible. He was not yet 18 when he filed his petition but he was 18 by the time of the election. He lost to the incumbent but his main goal was to raise public awareness amongst young people.

edit: I just noticed one only need be 18 years of age to be an Alabama Supreme Court Justice. How cool would that be?!

12. better to have neither
If we wanted to be run by aristocrats, why did we have a revolution against them?

14. ha - yes
Besides, I've always had a soft spot for the presidential kids. I'm quite fond of Ron Reagan.

They're so much better when they're NOT politically inclined - they have much more class than their parents when they stay out of politics.

13. I hope she doesn't run for anything
we don't need political dynasties in this country & we don't need an aristocracy. I'm sure Ms. Clinton is an intelligent and capable person, I just hope she puts her talents to good use outside of the political arena.

18. She should work in the real world for 20 years first.
I don't like dynastic succession. If a politician's kid wants to get involved in politics, fine, but let him build a real career first, and then work his way up the ladder like anyone else.
