Pinch me, am I reading this correctly to mean they think he lied??

They're just saying they think the administration lied.

Evidently a lot of people don't mind this.

but as a Christian I want truth, and I believe other Christians, (and everyone else), wants the truth as well.

This is the first time I ever went to that sire, (hopefully the last), and I am impressed with the results of that particular poll.
