What is up with "Real Time"...I can't tell who are the guys on the left
Normally on Maher he has a right leaning co-host and two guests (left and right) but recently...fuck I can't tell who's who...

I mean Larry Miller...what the hell is he? He says some things that make him look like a Democrat and then he goes and praises Bush left and right...

and I mean...shit Sean Astin???...A DEMOCRAT??? and he is a fan of Bush???...Sean Astin-Zell

What the hell is going on? is this show getting crappier or am I getting more lefty?

1. this week's show was awful
stupid stuff basically. I watched it at 9 pm (est) but it's not worth your time. It probably will be better next week.

4. You could usually count on Bill Maher
to get some real Bush/GOP bashing in.....but its getting harder and harder to see. The very first show made democrat party look really bad in my opinion - especially his conversation with Moby. Larry Miller is a conservative. Sean Astin is a democrat who obviously admires Bush. Wake up folks!! There are lots of them unfortunately. Every single democrat on my street is voting for Bush. I have tried my hardest to talk them out of it - but they won't budge. This is what we're up against. I'm not going to sugar coat it again like I did in November ,2002 and get my heart ripped out in surprise and disappointment and shock.

and then praise Bush?

6. Sean Astin.
It's not surprising. Sean is a member of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation. Does quite a bit of work on Literacy campaigns too.

So what exactly was his spiel on Maher's show? Seems to be likely he just said EVERYBODY is a nice guy, including Bush. Noncommital.

11. it's the old Dumbocratic sin of being too nice a guy
and actually believing your enemy is a nice guy just like you.

The old saying "thinking that the assholes won't fuck you over because you're a nice guy is like thinking the tiger won't eat you because you're a vegetarian."

7. On Larry King, Maher said that Iraq was a small matter,
not even a bad thing for Bush to have done. Thousands of Iraqis dead, and Maher thinks it's a small matter. Illegal invasion of a foreign country, and he thinks it's not even a very bad thing.

10. He thinks Bush has done worse
Bill is a Libertarian, he views differ depending on the subject. He said that he did lie about Iraq, but he's done worse: Spending, environment, corp scandals, etc......

9 times out 10, he will bash Bush

12. I saw Maher on Larry King and
I was pretty shocked to hear how muddled (politically speaking) he was in his opinions of one thing and another. I thought he was a liberal all this time. Has he maybe been seeing too much of Dennis Miller? How sad.

On the other hand, why do we care what "celebrities" think any damn way!? They aren't hurting for "want"..they just change their hype any ole' time they feel like it. I just wish they weren't allowed to be on TV spouting their crap (like they are mensa graduates or something) when many presidential candidates can't even get that kind of air time..wtf.
