11. actually, Short made several cogent points

one, about 70% of people believing the Saddam/911 connection because of Bush's constant, careful-yet-sneaky association. Short then made a very funny face (as Bush), saying something like, "I don't know WHERE you ever got THAT impression"---that he EVER said Saddam had connections w/911.

He also said two other things that were MUCH more coherent than anything the other three panelists said during the entire segment, but I can't remember now what they were.

Naomi Wolf was completely feckless, unfortunately

15. I think Naomi had one foot out the door...

I might have misunderstood but it sounded like Horowitz would be back next week and Wolf would not. He said "goodbye, I'll miss you" to Naomi but I thought I heard him say "I'll see you next week" to Horowitz.

I also think that she gave up on trying to reason with Miller after the "cut of his jib" remark. I think she saw Miller as a one trick pony ("I Love Bush") and showed up tonight in body but not in spirit.

She has better battles to fight elsewhere.
