2. They showed snips from 4 or 5, including the winner.

Also talked about how CBS refused to run it during the superbowl.

Zack Exley, for anyone who doesn't know of him, as well as working with moveon.org is the webmaster for http://www.gwbush.com .

8. Is gwbush.com the website that made W say "there ought to be limits to
freedom"?

If so, much applause to Zack!! (and much applause to MoveOn, of course!)

3. Some of Child Pay, Desktop, a bit of a Hitler one, others.
Showed some of the awards show at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I know they were also supposed to be sending cameras to the Gore speech, but I don't know if they ever did.

5. Since they're only 30 seconds each, too bad they couldn't find time to
Since they're only 30 seconds each, too bad they couldn't find time to show 3 in their entirety.

Since funding tv ads is the most notable thing MoveOn is up to these days, I think 90 seconds of letting people judge the ads for themselves would be appropriate.

7. Left Coast alert - "Move-On.org is changing the face of American politics"
ABC is using the ads like teasers, but it shows plenty.

10. it showed twice
I live in Montana. For some weird reason, there was a glitch and the MoveOn segment was showed twice on Niteline. Pretty cool. Lots of free exposure to some of the great ads. They did show the Hitler one which i am sure will piss some people off, but they showed "Billionaires for Bush" and a couple of the good ones and Childs Play. Cool

11. HAHAHAHA! CBS is giving MoveOn tons of FREE exposure!
Edited on Wed Jan-28-04 03:50 AM by 0rganism
This is too funny for words.

All their "standards and practices" bullshit is show to be so much meaningless partisan red tape, they lose a multi-million $$ payment for a superbowl ad, and the ad gets shown anyway, along with many others, FOR FREE!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Poetic Justice is a harsh mistress, but also a fair and balanced one.
