Ex-Accounting Chief at Enron Is Indicted on 6 Felony Charges
The former chief accounting officer of Enron was indicted yesterday on six felony charges that accuse him of participating in a multiyear effort to disguise the company's collapsing financial performance.
...
With the charges, prosecutors are essentially contending that the entire financial operation of Enron was corrupt, with two of its central figures engaged in crimes years before the company's collapse. Both men had working relationships with two former chief executives, Jeffrey K. Skilling and Kenneth L. Lay. Neither Mr. Skilling nor Mr. Lay has been charged, but they are subjects of the continuing investigation.

I'm posting this here because it's a little old; I can't find any earlier threads on it, which surprised me. Please delete if it's a dupe.

2. As much as many people believe
that Kenny boy isn't going to get "got" with the Enron debacle, I think he is going to be prosecuted, and that they are building a case with all these smaller fish first, and I'll tell you why:

Bush needs to distance himself from Enron to take it off the table for the GE2004, and he doesn't care that he and Kenny boy were once friends. Ol' Kenny can take it like a man, right? Hey, it's all good for Bush, and that's what's important, right?
