What percentage of the Republican Party is hard-core?

I'd say 30%. It's probably less. Anyway, I think that instead of trying to makes the hard core Republicans see the light, we should write them off as hopeless. I don't know if it's neurosis or just plain stubborness, but they're convinced that they're right, even when they know they're wrong.
I'd say hard-core liberals are somewhere at around 18% of the Democratic Party.
